At this time, no vaccinations are required to visit Costa Rica. However, the responsibility is yours to inquire at the travel inoculation centers and make the decision yourself. You may wish to bring antibiotics, acetaminophen, Pepto Bismol and other first aid items that put you at ease.

Be aware that it takes 30 minutes to get to the nearest hospital in good weather.
